Ingredients:
Chiken - sliced in small pieces: one handfull
Garlic: 1 tea spoon
Vegetable oil: 1 table spoon
Chillipaste: 1 tea spoon
Chilli oil: 3-4 drops
Oyster sauce: 1 table spoon
Light soy sauce: 1 table spoon
Sugar: 1 table spoon
Cashew nuts: 2 table spoons
Small onion – cut as an inch: half onion
Spring onion – cut as an inch: 1 stalk
Method:
Step 1.
Put the cashew nuts in the microwave for 2 minutes
Step 2.
At low heat put oil in a wok, add tha garlic, and immediately add chicken. Stir fry until it is half cooked, then ad the chilli paste and mix well.
Step 3.
Stir fry the cashew nuts with mixture of step 2. Then add all the remaining sauces (oyster sauce, light soy sauce and sugar)
Step 4.
Add the onion, stir fry until the onion is half cooked. Add the spring onion, mix well and turn the heat off. Don’t forget to make her up by dropping the chilli oil. Here is your lovely chicken with cashew nuts.
NB: For the vegetarian variation, we replace the meat with savoy cabbage, baby corn, onions, carrots and spring onions
